At the heart of my therapeutic approach rests the psychodynamic perspective, where the meaning we hold from experiences is the beating heart of memory and goes much deeper than the literal. Here, archetypal imagery becomes the language of the unconscious, and imaginal structures serve as the scaffolding upon which our personal narratives are woven. Every experience, whether perceived as good or bad, carries significance.
Drawing from neuropsychology and behavioral sciences, as well as imagery and metaphor, our collaborative journey weaves a tapestry of meaning from the threads of experiences. I draw from evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. As well as the more imaginal approaches of Internal Family Systems and transpersonal psychology. This blend works with the brain and body to integrate the process of recovery and healing.
In practice, I work with clients to provide helpful cognitive behavior interventions for fast relief side by side with depth work to create lasting change. Always cultivating an environment of trust and understanding where growth flourishes. Together we confront the experiences that have shaped one's life, crafting narratives that transform traumas into stories of resilience and finding meaning amidst chaos. In the labyrinth of a life’s journey, every twist and turn presents new terrain to explore and new meanings to uncover. I am a compassionate partner and a safe place to explore the un-safe parts of one's life in the pursuit of authentic happiness.
